How do I package my items?

Packaging your items is really easy and only takes a few minutes. To make sure your items are safe and secure in transit, we recommend taking the following steps:

What you’ll need

  • A sturdy cardboard box. If you don’t have a box to hand, check your local grocery store.
  • Sellotape
  • Scissors
  • Your FREE send label (included in your Pack & Send Guide)
  • Bubble wrap or newspaper

Note: we highly recommend sending tech items in their original packaging, as they’re designed to keep your tech safe in transit!

How to package Tech

As mentioned before, the original packaging is by far the best option for sending your tech as it’s ready made for your device! If you don’t have the original packaging, we suggest wrapping it in bubble wrap to avoid any damage in transit (as any damage may affect the price you receive).

If you do not have the original packaging, you can use any other sturdy box to send your tech to us. Please avoid using any boxes with hazmat markings (hazardous, flammable etc.) or labels on the outside as our carriers may reject them.

Make sure your tech item is switched off before sending it and remove any SIM or memory cards too, as we can’t return them once received.

How to package Media items

The best approach is to stack your media items so they have no room to move while in transit. While it’s not essential, it’s a good idea to fill any large spaces with bubble wrap or newspaper. This is the best time to check that your items have their original artwork, and that the cases actually have the discs inside!

And that’s it! If you have any other questions about packaging your item, check your Pack & Send Guide or contact our Customer Service team!

We'd recommend stacking your media items in a small box so they have almost no room to move during transport. It's also a great idea to fill any remaining spaces with bubble wrap or newspaper to minimise the chances of damage transit damage occurring.
