How should I package my items?

Packaging your Tech or Media is really easy and only takes a few minutes. To make sure your items are safe and secure in transit, we recommend taking the following steps:

What you’ll need:

  • A sturdy cardboard box. If you don’t have a box to hand, check your local grocery store.
  • Scotch tape
  • Scissors
  • Your FREE send label (included in your Pack & Send Guide)
  • Bubble wrap or newspaper

The original packaging is by far the best option for sending your Tech as it's ready made for your device. If you don't have the original packaging, we'd suggest using a sturdy cardboard box and bubble wrap to counteract any potential damage caused in transit.

If you do not have the original packaging you can use any other sturdy box to send your Tech to us.

Please avoid using any boxes with hazmat markings (hazardous, flammable etc.) or labels on the outside as our carrier may reject them.

Make sure that your device is switched off before sending and remove any SIM or memory cards as we can't return them back to you.

If you're sending a large or heavy Tech item, please ensure that it has extra packaging to reduce any movement during transit.

For Media items we've found that the best approach is to stack your CDs, DVDs, Books and Games so they have little to no room to move whilst in transit. It's also a good idea to fill any remaining spaces with bubble wrap or newspaper for that extra protection.

This is also a good time to check that your Media contains the original artwork and that the cases have the discs inside.
